The scoreline may suggest a dull game, but yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Georgian side Barca Tblisi was far from a poor match.

Despite having the bulk of the play and creating a number of chances, Brook Street were unable to break down the well organised visitors’ defence.

However, Eskild was far from disappointed with the result saying, “Sure, it would have been good to get a win, but there were a lot of positives to take from the game”.

The match saw Ville Yrjölä make his debut for the club, and keeping a clean sheet will have done his chances of playing in Saturday’s match no harm.

“Ville looked impressive when he was called into action and commanded his box well”, said the coach, who added, “He’s young and it’s early days, but I’m confident we’ve got ourselves a real bargain”.
