Dan Zieleznik stuns the home side with a breathtaking volley to level the scores.

Eskild Bøgholm this morning reflected on a terrific battling performance against the league leaders that saw his side bring a point back home from FC Zippy Arena.

“The lads did everything I asked of them and Dan’s equalizing strike was nothing short of sensational”.

“We showed great character coming back from losing a goal and having to re-jig the midfield when Kyle had to go off injured”.

On Kyle Fair’s injury, Eskild said, “The doctors have looked at Kyle’s knee and it’s not as bad as first feared. It’s early days, but we think he’ll only be out for a week”.

Singled out for praise was keeper Ville Yrjölä who the coach reckoned played his best match for the club.

“Ville pulled off two truly breathtaking saves at critical times in the match. Had he not made them, the outcome I’m certain would have been very different”.

“We’ve been trying to instil this battling quality in the side and we’re now starting to see the results. We’re becoming a difficult side to play against and we’re starting to pick up points in places that we’ve never got a point before”.

He continued, “The Mighty result aside, our results have been very respectable and I feel we have improved considerably on last season. That said”, he added, “sixth place is still our aim”.

“No-one should forget that this season is an exceptionally difficult league, I believe it is ranked fifth, yet we are still holding our own. That speaks volumes for the players at this club. Man-for-man, we probably don’t deserve to be in this league, but as a unit, it’s a totally different ball game”.
