Brook Street fought back to earn a creditable 1-1 draw with Fosters in Norway yesterday, Al Caird’s strike cancelling out Lui Eskerod’s earlier goal.

Despite being put under considerable pressure for long spells, the Brook Street defence held firm which pleased coach Eskild Boghølm.

“We rode our luck at times, but the lads played out of their skins and I think their efforts merited the draw”.

The match also saw teenagers Greg Folster, Jake Blair, Jake MacConnechy and Blane Barfield gain much needed match experience.

“They all did well, and will benefit from games like these”, said the coach.
