Brook Street Athletic will kick off the new league campaign this Saturday with a home match against last seasons runners-up FC MUNRO. This will be followed by an away trip to face montford afc and a home game against Dimsdale Gamers II.

“I’d have preferred to play FC MUNRO after two or three weeks, but that’s not how the hattrick fixture computer works”, said Arjen on hearing the fixtures.

He added, “FC MUNRO appear on paper to be our biggest challengers, so it’s important we get off to a good start. We’ll prepare thoroughly and leave absolutely nothing to chance.

Before that however, Athletic have the small matter of a Scottish Cup First Round tie against Coatbridge Corinthians on Wednesday.
