Emanuel Bohucký keeps his calm to slam home our third goal; his first for the club.

Five unanswered second half goals gave Brook Street a comfortable 7-2 win over AbuSahiy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan this afternoon.

Daniel Hasnaş hit a hat-trick while Emanuel Bohucký scored his first goal for the club. Our other goals came from Kyle Fair, Igor Bulatov and Dario Zintu.

When asked at full-time if he had given the players the “hairdryer treatment” at half-time, Arjen replied, “No, not at all. We hadn’t played badly in the first half, but our hosts had played out of their skins”.

“We knew there was no way they could keep up that level of pressure on us for ninety minutes when giving us so much of the ball”.

He continued, “All we had to do was keep playing as we had been and the goals would come. That proved to be the case, and once we got our noses in front, there was only ever going to be one winner”.

“We knocked the ball about well today, and scored some excellent goals. That’s a real boost to the players ahead of Saturday’s match with speccy’s saints in Paisley”.
