Brook Street returned home tonight following their match with Kildrum FC, with not only another clean sheet, but more importantly another three points in the bag as the pressure racks up with only four games remaining.

At the post-match press conference, Arjen admitted, “It’s good to get the clean sheet, but even though it wasn’t our best performance, it’s far more important to get the win at this point of the season”.

He added, “By continuing to win our matches, we’re keeping the pressure on the two chasing teams. With them meeting next weekend something’s got to give there, and it’s up to us to keep turning the screw. They are running out of games if they are going to mount a challenge in the last few weeks, which puts all the pressure on them”.

Kyle Fair’s two first half goals were added to in the second by a Nemanja Jankovic strike just after the hour mark to ensure that Brook Street would maintain their six point lead over both speccy’s saints and Handball Rovers.
