Rab Henderson coolly slots the ball home to score our fifth goal of this afternoon’s game.

In their first friendly outing of the season, the reserves recorded a fine 6-0 win against The Clogs Carriers in Lebanon this evening.

The match was effectively over by half-time as Brook Street had raced to a 4-0 lead courtesy of goals from Emanuel Bohucký (2), Andy Hunter and Zsolt Baboss, and these were added to in the second by Rab Henderson and Garabed Palasyan.

“The lads were impressive for sure”, admitted Marcus who added, “They’ve had to wait their chance during our extended cup run, but they played with passion; a real desire to win”.

The coach continued, “That is exactly what we want; we want competition in every position. They all know that if they are good enough then they’ll get their chance in the first team, and this is driving them on”.

“We saw evidence of that here today, and it bodes well for the future of our club”.
