Emanuel Bohucký grabbed four goals this morning as the reserves recorded their biggest win in two seasons, running out 10-0 winners against Cameroon Troisième Division side Municipal Maroua at New Home Park.

The visitors were repeatedly ripped apart, with our other goals coming from Kenny Corney (2), Oleg Zhigalov, Lloyd Stephen, Garaben Palasyan and Phil Mullally.

“It was a real shooting gallery out there this morning”, admitted Marcus after the match. “The lads played very well, but it was really lambs to the slaughter”.

He continued, “It’s always good to see my players get some reward for dominating games, but I’ve got to admit it was a bit uncomfortable watching the Municipal players going through the wringer. We totally took them apart, and they spent most of the match chasing shadows.

“The win gives us a big morale boost before Saturdays trip to Glasgow though, so some benefit has come out of the game for us”.
