Brook Street crashed to a 3-0 defeat away to Vines Cross with a performance that coach Marcus Lövman described as “uncharacteristic”.

“We were second to everything all over the park and were generally very poor”. He continued, “It seemed as if the whole team had an off-day, and that is very uncharacteristic of them”.

He added, “We only created two clear-cut chances throughout the whole game, but on both occasions were unable to take advantage of them”.

“We knew how Vines would line up, but we were unable to make any breakthrough. Chances were always going to be at a premium, so to fail to take either was wasteful in the extreme”.

He finished the post-match interview by saying, “We’re at home to sooside next week so I think I’ll maybe freshen things us a bit. As things stand, we seem to have gone a bit stale”.
