Matt Cocker attempts to break through against E.S.Sayada this morning.

The reserves eased to a comfortable 5-0 win over their E.S.Sayada counterparts in this morning’s friendly match at New Home Park in front of an impressive 5,867 crowd.

First half goals from Fraser Carragher and Kenny Corney were added to after the break by strikes from Lloyd Stephen, Phil Mullally and Germán Olmos Ribas.

Marcus stated briefly at full-time that he was “pleased with the work rate that we put in”. He added, “We used the space well and our passing was first rate. Our play was intelligent and the results were there for everyone to see. What’s really pleasing though was that three of our goals came from home-grown players”.
