GlasAcciesIt’s back to Scottish Cup action for Brook Street tomorrow and a trip west to face Glasgow Academicals at the Shawlands Superdome.

Once again Brook Street coach Marcus Lövman has a full squad to choose from, but is unlikely to vary the starting line-up much from that which faced The Gothenburg Greats in the previous round.

“There’s always the temptation to switch formations and try out new things in these matches”, he admitted, “but I don’t think we’ll be going in for wholesale changes from last week’s line-up”.

He continued, “The league is of course our first priority, but it’s good to get a few Cup games under our belts at the start of the season”.

“We’ll threat Accies with the utmost respect”, Marcus added. “They had another good win at the weekend, and are top of their Division. I think they’re on something like a five-match winning streak, so they’re certainly no mugs”.

He concluded, “This tie is a potential banana skin for us, so we’ve got to be on our guard if we’re going to reach the Third Round”.

Following Accies 3-0 win over Mill River Grizzlies at the weekend, indications are that the match which kicks-off at 1030 BST is likely to be a sell-out.
