Action from the last meeting between the sides at New Home Park.

Brook Street welcome reining Division III.9 Champions Carbrain FC to New Home Park tomorrow for what will be the thirteenth meeting between the sides. We have a slight edge with six wins and two draws, but the Cumbernauld side are no strangers leaving New Home Park with at least a point.

“Our overall record against them is fairly good, but at New Home Park there’s been nothing between the sides”, admitted Brook Street coach Marcus Lövman when he spoke to This Is Brook Street this morning.

“They had a good home win last Saturday over Kessler’s and another win in the Cup on Wednesday, so they’ll be coming here full of confidence”, he added.

“They were really unlucky to lose out in the League II play-off, and if anyone thought they might suffer a hangover from this, then they couldn’t have been much more wrong”.

The coach continued, “They appear to have picked up where they left off last season, and have now gone almost a whole season unbeaten in the League. That’s an excellent record, but one that we would dearly love to bring to an end tomorrow”.

The coach will be without the services of Abel Soffia who serves a suspension for his red card on Wednesday, and Phil Mullally who was injured in the same game. With no problems reported, Carbrain will be at full strength for the encounter which kicks off at 16:30 BST.
