Action from Tuggers’ match against Carbrain FC last weekend.

Brook Street travel west again tomorrow to face high-flying new boys EK Tuggers at MacArthur Park. This will be the first meeting between the sides, and one that the New Home Parkers go into with renewed confidence following their narrow win over Kessler’s last weekend.

Tuggers start to the season saw league victories over Real Forfar and Vines Cross before last weekend’s 5-3 defeat at the hands of Carbrain FC, while in the Cup they face 412225AHGC in the Fifth Round on Wednesday.

“There’s no doubting they are a good side, but we’re looking to kick on after getting our first league win of the season last weekend, so it’s shaping up to be a really good game”, said Marcus this morning.

“Until last Saturday they hadn’t conceded a single goal, so they’re clearly strong at the back, and at the same time they were scoring for fun”. He continued, “We therefore have to keep things tight at the back while looking for a way to pick holes in their defence.

With Phil Mullally coming through Wednesday’s friendly unscathed, Marcus has a full squad to choose from for probably the first time this season. Tuggers will also be at full strength.

The match at MacArthur Park kicks-off at 1630 BST.
