Hat-trick hero, Muhammad Noorani

A Muhammad Noorani hat-trick and a brace from Lloyd Stephen gave the reserves a 5-0 win over Yemeni side Al Yaman Dolphins in Sana’a this evening.

Lloyd opened the scoring in the sixth minute and Muhammad got his first on the half hour mark, which saw us go in two-up at the break.

Lloyd thundered in our third goal four minutes after the break, and Muhammad’s two quick goals in the fifty-fifth and fifty-ninth minutes had both the game, and his hat-trick wrapped up before the hour mark.

“Muhammad put in an excellent performance today and showed us exactly what he is capable of”, said Marcus at full-time. “He’s got bags of talent, and with Andrew partnering him, we’ve got a potent strike force and real prospects for the future”.

“We also limited Dolphins to just one chance, so from a defensive point of view that is also pleasing”, admitted the coach.

Commenting on the knock picked up by Zsolt Baboss he said, “It’s nothing to worry about, and he’ll be fine for Saturday”.
