Muhammad Noorani scored our goal against Serralta Team this morning.

Two goals late in the second half did for the reserves as they crashed out of the Hattrick Scottish Cup, losing 3-1 away to Serralta Team. However, it was the injury to keeper Jim Barnstaple which concerned the coach more than the Cup exit.

Marcus said, “It doesn’t look too bad, but we’ve been here before and the player has ended up being out for longer than anticipated so we’re not counting our chickens”.

On the match itself he said, “Overall we were poor today. Serralta wanted the win more and it showed. They had a hunger to win and bossed the game, which is something I’d expect of my players. Now we have to be content with entry into the Saltire Cup for the first time, and I’ll be expecting my players to put in a better shift in that than they did today”.

That Saltire Cup First Round tie takes place next Wednesday in the capital when we face League V side Ballroom Blitz with a 10:30 kick-off.
