Brook Street today made the first signing of the Eike Alanne era, picking up highly rated seventeen year-old forward Adam Humphrey from Division II side Lindrum in a deal worth around £200,000.

“Adam is exactly the kind of player we’re looking for. He’s good in the air, got a great touch and knows the way to goal”, said Eike.

He continued, “He’s still really raw with lots of rough edges, but he’s a real prospect and one we can mould into a great striker”.

“Adam is the first of a number of players that I hope to bring in, and we’re hopeful of bringing in at least one more player before the Cup tie on Wednesday”.
