Joe Anderson is expecting a tough game today but knows his players will be giving their all.

Joe Anderson’s Brook Street Athletic side face another huge challenge this afternoon when league leaders Balvenie United visit the LJG.

After a stinging defeat last weekend, the Monifieth side will be desperate to make amends this afternoon and the coach is certain he will get a positive response from the players.

“The players knew they’d let themselves down last weekend and after a week of hard training I know they are determined to put in a strong performance this afternoon”, said Joe this morning.

“The players have worked hard this week and I may decide to freshen up the line-up a little on the back of that”.

“Some players have gone off the boil while others are eager to get their chance”, he added. “That competitiion is good and it helps keep everyone on their toes”.

“This afternoon’s game will be very tough for them, but I’m sure our players will be giving their all”, he concluded.

Kick-off this afternoon is at 16:30.
